Natalie Portman is an American movie actress who is best known for her role as Queen Amidala in the Star Wars prequels. She's been in lots of other films including - Leon, Mars Atacks, Where the Heart Is Closer.
Natalie Portman was born in Jerusalem, Israel. At the age of three her family moved to Washington, but soon moved on to New York, where she still lives. At the age of 11 she was spotted by an agent which lead to her starting her acting career, only six months later at aged 12, she debuted in the acclaimed movie Léon.
On of her most famous rolls is as Queen Amidala in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and sequels.
