A film actress held for prostitution !

Delhi police nabbed a lesser-known Bollywood starlet and one of her associates on Thursday on charges of prostitution.
The police claimed that the Mumbai-based actress, whose identity was kept hidden, had been operating through a pimp named Asha from Lajpat Nagar and had entertained customers for hefty payments. While the actress allegedly charged Rs.15,000 a customer, her Delhi-based associate Priya allegedly charged Rs.5,000.
Police, after being tipped about the flesh racket, struck a deal through decoy customers and apprehended the two women near Qutub Minar and Mehrauli in south Delhi while they were at work. The police is still looking for Asha.
Interrogation of the actress revealed that she was a college dropout and belonged to Ghatkopar in Mumbai. Her father had died several years ago and she lived in Mumbai with her mother who works with a private firm. She told the police that she came to Delhi for prostitution as nobody knew her here unlike in Mumbai.
The starlet has appeared in small roles in films like "Pinjar", "Devdas", "Parwane" and "Dil Ka Rishta". She has also worked in the TV serial "Yakeen" aired on Doordarshan and has featured in music videos as well.
Priya, her accomplice belongs to Chattisgarh and has been in Delhi for the past year.
A case has been registered against the two women under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
